practice data dump

When I'm practicing π by myself, I usually type the digits casually into one of several programs I've written, trying to get through the digits in the least amount of time possible. On this page you may find a public record of my private practice sessions since May 13th, 2018.

There are usually a significant number of errors, a fact that stems from my imperfect knowledge and recall as much as it does from typos, missed keystrokes, and my generally swift-and-casual approach to practicing.

Sometimes I experiment, imposing additional cognitive duties on myself as I practice. The methods I've used on this page include:

  • numpad: the digits are entered on a standard computer numberpad.
  • pauseThreadUponError: each time I make a mistake, the program I'm typing the digits into forces me to wait before entering another digit.

Live updates as I practice.
